Enkidoo Technologies Inc. (Enkidoo) is pleased to provide the Carrefour Jeunesse-Emploi Montréal Centre-Ville (CJE) with an innovative management portal for managers and a mobile application for its young clientele in search of employment.
Even before its first commercialized product, the start-up Enkidoo chose to promote community involvement in supporting the CJE’s will for innovation. "The digital revolution also means making technological contributions to social projects like Roulo-Boulo in order to innovate and to promote Montreal’s economic growth by focusing on youth employability," says Pholysa Mantryvong, President and Founder of Enkidoo.
This application will allow thousands of young job seekers aged 18 to 35 to quickly locate Roulo-Boulo, the employment bus, and to meet employers on-site. The free mobile application specifies the location of the Roulo-Boulo job bus in real time. It also allows job seekers to check the latest deals offered by partners and participating enterprises.
"All are equal in the face of the job market, it is important to help promote contacts between employers and job seekers, especially among young people," says Samuel Bourgault, a 20-year-old developer occupying his first position at Enkidoo.
With its expertise in artificial intelligence, Enkidoo also endowed the ECJ managers with a web management portal that suggests real-time locations for the Roulo-Boulo bus to better serve its customers wherever they are located.
The official launch of the application will take place during the public launch of Season 2 of the Roulo-Boulo project, Monday, May 30 at 11:30 a.m. at the McCord Museum’s "Urban Forest."
